Supporting Our ANZAZ Community

We’re excited to share that we’ve officially launched our ANZAZ fundraising campaign to better serve our community.

This year, fundraising will support:

  • Our major project: building an ANZAC Day Monument here in Arizona
  • Hosting free community events that bring our Down Under community together

Looking ahead, our longer-term goals include working with:

  • Local charity organizations
  • Sister city groups with Australian and New Zealand sister city programs

ANZAZ is a registered non-profit organization (501(c)(3)), and all donations are tax deductible. Your contribution—no matter the size—makes a real difference.

Supporting Our ANZAZ Community

ANZAC Day, observed on April 25, commemorates the service and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand military personnel—beginning with the Gallipoli campaign of World War I and continuing through all conflicts and peacekeeping missions.

A permanent memorial in Arizona ensures this history, sacrifice, and shared identity are honoured year-round, not just on one day.

We are deeply thankful to the Irish Cultural and Learning Foundation at the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library for dedicating a site for this special memorial.

Lest we forget.

This ANZAC Memorial will stand as a lasting tribute to courage, service, and mateship—a place for reflection, remembrance, and community connection.

Thank you for being part of the ANZAZ community and for supporting this important legacy.

Every little bit truly helps — and together, we can make this something special for our community now and for generations to come.
